Make your headbands last longer.
Wash gently
Wipe the band with a damp cloth and one drop of baby shampoo. Avoid soaking — water can warp resin and loosen embellishments.
Air-dry only
Pat dry with a soft towel and let it sit flat. Heat tools will deform the curve and the band will never sit flush again.
Store flat
Lay each headband flat in a drawer with the curve unbent. Hanging them stretches the shape over time.
Don't do this
- Pushing the band too far back to grip in slippery hair.
- Sleeping with a hard headband still on.
- Snapping it off the head instead of lifting carefully.
